The Hiding Place

By special arrangement with the publisher of the book The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, I am proud to offer my own stage adaptation of this poignant and important story of love, life and personal sacrifice during World War II.

The publisher requires that I charge no less than 10% of total ticket sales.  The script is in manuscript form and must be rented from the author for a nominal charge.

The pictures/slides mentioned for use in the script are also available for rent in slide format or in Power Point. Simply include that in your request for production rights.

Antigone

This is a new translation of the play by Sophocles in poetic modern English. A copy of the script is available by using the "Contact Me" button above.  Royalty of this script is in the form of a simple fee of $25.00 per performance for schools and educational theatre groups. Royalty for professional productions can be individually negotiated. This play requires a simple single set and period costuming. The script is in manuscript form and must be rented from the author. Running time is usually one hour.

The Viewing

The Viewing is about Laura who has just lost her husband of 25 years to cancer. Her two sisters come to comfort and help her in planning the funeral and other arrangements and transitions. Their father comes from New York City for the funeral and brings with him the news that he's getting married to Laura's mother-in-law, a woman Laura has hated for years. This touching comedy stresses the importance of family, love, and forgiveness. The script can be ordered by requesting it through the "Contact Me" button above. Royalty is $50/25 for schools and colleges. Running time is about two hours.

The Antigone Act

Built on the original play by Sophocles, this play is about three actors who serve as the chorus in a production of the play ANTIGONE. The twist is that these three actors learn a valuable lesson about what is real and how to deal with fantasy in a realistic manner.  This play requires a single set or a bare stage. It also requires some period costuming. The script is in manuscript form and must be rented from the author. Running time is usually one hour and forty-five minutes. Presentation of this play is by negotiation only with the playwright.
